Memory slots 2 or 4

Hi, I have recently purchased a GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 (rev 1.3). Also, I have bought a 2x4GB DDR3 1600 memory to go along with my build. The problem I have is when I put in both of my ram sticks in slot 1 & 2 or 3 & 4, I get a rebooting loop problem and never reach POST.

i have 4 memory slots on my gt5032 computer(Gateway) with 2 ... that depends on two factors. the first being rambus memory has to be added in pairs.
